WWE 2K25has released yet another update for April 2025, and one that addresses numerous issues fans have been reporting across multiple game modes. The newestWWEgame gives fans plenty to do, from the Bloodline-centric 2K Showcase and multi-character MyRise campaign to even more options for exhibition matches starring their favorite wrestlers from the promotion’s past and present. There is always room for improvement in the squared circle though, and the developers behindWWE 2K25have been tweaking the game with update patches regularly since its initial release in March.
The most recentWWE 2K25patch, Update 1.07, was only released last week. It added the current NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship for use in exhibition matches as well as a new Saturday Night’s Main Event arena. Otherchanges in thisWWE 2K25updateinclude allowing female wrestlers to compete for the Women’s midcard championships in MyGM mode, updating entrance videos for multiple WWE superstars and factions, and letting players view a given wrestler’s win/loss records in Universe mode.
Now,WWE 2K25is releasing another new update patch to further fine-tune the in-ring action. Patch Version 1.08 is available to download on all platforms and brings a multitude of improvements to a wide range of gameplay modes. Some of the problems this patch addresses include issues with online matches, in which many players reported that entrance music and commentary dialogue refused to play, incorrect entrance numbers wereshown during the Royal Rumble, and game session errors cropped up after consecutive matches.
WWE 2K25 1.08 Patch Fixes Gameplay Issues for Multiple Modes
Some of the mode-specific fixes include correcting glitches inWWE 2K25’s Universe mode that cause empty match cards to be generated, Money In The Bank cash-ins still being usable after a character has already announced them, the momentum tracker not tracking properly, and Superstars appearing invisible during rivalry cutscenes. Issues inWWE 2K25’s Creation suiteshave also been addressed, such as locked attire parts not displaying their proper thumbnail, incorrect character motions being assigned, and logo positions suddenly resetting in Create-a-Arena.
The newestWWE 2K25update also corrects issues like DIY’s entrance video playing incorrectly, match options persisting after a match has ended, and female superstars beinglocked out of a Money In The Bank matchif they are cruiserweights. MoreWWE 2K25updates will come in the future, especially since the game’s first DLC pack is set to launch next month. This New Wave Pack will add rising stars like Chris Sabin and Stephanie Vaquer to the roster, along with a celebrity guest that will be revealed at a later date.
