An exciting chapter is set to begin forWuthering Waveson April 29. The hit open-world RPG will launch its 2.3 update, which coincides with its first anniversary. On the same day,Wuthering Waveswill make its debut on Steam, and players can already add the game to their wishlist. Now, the developers have unveiled which limited characters will be featured in the next patch’s banners.

During the Version 2.3 special livestream,Wuthering Wavesconfirmed that the update’s first half banner will star Zani. While the second half will feature Ciaccona’s banner. Between the two 5-Star characters,Wuthering Waves’ Zaniis arguably the most anticipated one, as players have been waiting for her playable debut since the release of Rinascita. In addition, Kuro Games has revealed two special anniversary banners for Version 2.3 with five limited characters each. Players can select which 5-Star unit’s drop rate they want to boost before attempting to pull them. There will also be a special banner with the characters’ signature weapons.

According to the developers, the rules for the anniversary banners are the same as the featured character ones, which means players could still lose their 50/50 to a standard banner character. Moreover, the 5-Star guarantee count is shared among banners of the same type. Players can also switch their target five-star at any time during the event. Game director Solon Lee stated that these benefits are what makeWuthering Wavesa greatplayer-friendly gacha title.

Aside from the surprise anniversary banners,Wuthering WavesVersion 2.3will also give a ton of free pulls and a Wings skin as event rewards. The game isn’t done releasing Rinascita content either.Wuthering Waves' next patch will add Zani’s companion story and an event focused on Ciaccona’s background. There are also rumors that the fan-favorites Phrolova and Cartethyia will become playable during the 2.0 cycle.
