One of the biggest factors to consider when choosing a city inInZOIisthe available careers. As Zois typically work three days of the week and their personality may be built around their career, players don’t want to pick a city where their favorite job isn’t available. There are some standard careers, such as law and reporting, which are present in all cities, but many jobs are unique.
The main ones to look at are the active jobs in each city, as players will get to engage with tasks, coworkers, and customers, rather than being sent off the map for the day, as is the case with ‘rabbit hole’ jobs. The active jobs in Dowon are Idol Trainee and Firefighter, as well as two part-time jobs at the Convenience Store and the Deli. Bliss Bay, on the other hand, has active jobs at the Amusement Park and the Furniture Store, on top of part-time jobs at the Surf Shop and the Golden Apple Burger.

Outside of job opportunities, the biggest gameplay factor in choosing a city will be the attractions. In each city, there are simply different things for Zois to do in their free time. Here, Bliss Bay appears to have the advantage, allowing players toride rollercoastersand even surf the waves inInZOI. There’s simply more fun to be had here, especially for thrill seekers.
However, there is still a lot going on in the bustling metropolis of Dowon, with standout attractions being the Plesio Gaming Cafe, as well a Coin Booth Karaoke. Thankfully, whichever city players select, there are lots of attractions that all cities have. For example, both Dowon and Bliss Bay have libraries and an art gallery, which might excite Zois depending ontheir selected Preferences.

In some ways, the changing weather inInZOIcould be seen as fitting under the ‘aesthetics’ umbrella, but there are also gameplay elements to the weather inInZOI. If players want more of a challenge and to fully experience the highs and lows of the four seasons in Korea, then Dowon is the city for them. The local Zois will need to change outfits regularly toavoid freezing to deathor overheating.
Bliss Bay, on the other hand, experiences the sun all year round, meaning Zois can almost always walk around in their summer attire or even swimwear when heading down to the beach. The weather can be temporarily changed for the day if players want to experience rare rain or snow in Bliss Pay. This is in the Edit City options.

Another factor to consider when deciding on a city is the architecture, specifically the houses and apartments where Zois live. Of course, players are free todesign their own homes from scratchby purchasing a plot of land, but if they opt for a prebuilt house, it will be in the style of the city.
In the large city of Dowon, dominated by skyscrapers, players will typically find apartment buildings, but there are some fancier places to live. Alternatively, in Bliss Bay, the architecture is completely different, with homes often being single-story, featuring lots of exterior space.
