There are several weapons inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, including melee and ranged options. The main protagonist, Henry, finds all kinds of trouble as he treks across Bohemia, so having a weapon on hand is a smart move. Bows and Crossbows let players rain death from a distance, but of course, they’re nothing without arrows.
If players use a Bow,Black Arroware the most powerful and deal the most damage. However, they are rare and only available in a specific area. This guide will show players exactly where to find Black Arrows and how to craft them inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Where to Get Black Arrows in KCD2
Black Arrows are, hands down, one of the best arrow types inKCD2. They are capable of felling their targets in one hit, so stocking up on them is a good idea for those who favor ranged weapons. While most otherarrows can be bought from Blacksmiths, Traders, and Carpenters, Black Arrows are a bit more elusive.
Black Arrows arefound in Kuttenbergat the shooting range near Pschitoky, toward the southwest. There, under the shade of a few battered trees and surrounded by worn-out targets, players will find a man namedLefty. Lefty will tell Henry about a special arrow he’s been using, one tipped with a raven’s feather, and offer to make some if brought the right materials.
Players need Raven, or Rook, Feathers to make Black Arrows.Feathers can be picked up from nests.Nests are marked on players' mapsonce discovered, and can be knocked out of their trees with a stone or an arrow. This can be difficult at times, but luckily, there are a few Black Arrows nearby that Henry can pick up.
Around Lefty’s range, there are several Black Arrows already stuck in the targets.Good news: Lefty doesn’t mind if players help themselves, so take them all.Players can recover arrows shot into enemies; rob or loot them after battle to pull the arrow from their corpses. The same goes for hunting animals: butcher them after the kill, and the arrows are tucked inside.
If players need more, they can bring him some feathers, and he’ll make them.
Tips for Shooting Bows and Crossbows in KCD2
Players can build weapon proficiencies that make using weapons easier and give them stronger attacks. Ranged weapons can be tricky to use when first starting, but with practice and other resources, Bows and Crossbows become very powerful.
Aiming Bows and Crossbows uses up tons of stamina.Players should increase their Marksmanship stat, and Henry won’t shake as much.
Those on PC can use a cheat to make theiraiming dot reticle always onfor better accuracy when shooting.
Players can increase Marksmanship by doing the following:
For a temporary boost to Marksmanship, Henry can drink a Bowman’s Brew potion. The recipe can be picked up from thetrader Barnaby near Trosky. Marksmanship also comes into play when players use Firearms, which are especially hard to use in combat.
Like other skills inKCD2,Marksmanship has Perksthat give Henry buffs and advantages when using ranged weapons.
Description
Steady Aim (Marksmanship)
If you don’t move for two or more seconds while aiming, your stamina will drain 20% slower, and your shot will be 15% stronger.
Salvo (Marksmanship)
After each shot, you get a short-term buff during which you reload and aim faster. So you can also shoot faster, and if you do it in time, you’ll regain the buff with each shot.
Crippling Shot (Marksmanship)
If you deal damage to an enemy with a ranged weapon, their stamina will recover more slowly, and their combat ability will be reduced.
Forbidden Weapon (Marksmanship)
If you inflict a bleeding wound on an opponent with a crossbow bolt, bleeding will be faster and stronger, so they will weaken or die sooner.
One Shot at Glory (Marksmanship)
If you kill an enemy with a ranged weapon, your next shot will deal 50 % more damage.
