Kerosene is used in the following recipes:
Med kits, weapons, and throwables arecrafted in the inventory menu.Don’t forget to replenish them often, as it can be hard to craft during combat moments. Players are introduced to Molotov cocktails early on inDays Gone Remastered, as they are used for clearing out Freaker nests in abandoned buildings.
Players can throw a Molotov at a nest, and it will flush the zombies out. Be ready with ammo and melee weapons when taking on nests, andattack at nightfor the best chances of remaining unseen. Napalm Molotovs are better quality than Molotov Cocktails and use more Kerosene, but they have a much bigger bang on contact.
If players are stealthy, they can burn the nest and hide. The zombies may wander off, but it will still count as clearing it.
Incendiary Bolts arehigher-powered crossbow ammo. Freaks are inflamed when hit with them, and they do more damage. They can also be used to blow up gas barrels and big groups of zombies when taking on hordes, if players want to save their firearm ammo. Most of the ambush and infestation areas feature explosives scattered throughout the area that players can utilize tactfully.
