Netherworld EnergyinThe First Berserker: Khazanis used to heal Khazan whenever players are low on health. There is a fixed amount of these that are available at the start of each mission and can be replenished when interacting with the Blade Nexus. The game starts the player off with three heals that they must use throughout the opening missions of the game.Players can find multiple upgrades for the Netherworld Energy,either hidden away behind a wall or in plain sight. For players missing any upgrades, they can check out the location of each upgrade below.
There are five Netherworld Energy upgrades that players can find throughout the missions,increasing your total to 8.However,you can increase this to 9by equipping theAshen Wolf set, which can becrafted at the Blacksmith, or theFallen Star’s Set, which was a pre-order bonus.
You will only get another Netherworld Energy if you equip all five pieces of the armor set, completing the requirement for the set attributes.

Netherworld Energy Upgrade #1 - Forgotten Temple
To find the first Netherworld Energy upgrade, you must progress throughthe third missionuntil you reach theForgotten Temple Entrance(Blade Nexus) inEmbars Ruins.Go up the stairs, and you will arrive at a hall, encountering Dragonkin enemies for the first time. Deal with the three enemies worshipping what seems to be the remains of a Dragonkin hung to the ceiling.
Once they are dealt with,go up the right staircase and immediately turn rightto go through a small gate. Here, you will find two Dragonkin archers to deal with, after which you can drop downtoward the Bard, who is playing a beautiful melody. You can purchase a number of items from him, such as thePrimeval Regression Orb.
After that, turn around, and to the left up ahead, you will find a glowing item, which is the Netherworld Energy upgrade, along with anEarth Enhancer.
Netherworld Energy Upgrade #2 - Strange Stench
Head straight towards the ladder from theCollapsed Mine(Blade Nexus) inSkoffa Caveand climb it.Be careful of the group of bats that come your wayand try to make you fall down. Walk along the wooden beam and drop down on the wooden plank, where you can see a few spiders. Deal with them, and go forward to walk on the wooden beam on the opposite side.
Going up the beam, be cautious of another group of bats and deal with the second group of spiders.Go up the beam again, and when you encounter the third group of bats, head leftto find the second Netherworld Energy upgrade.
Netherworld Energy Upgrade #3 - Devoured Village
Go down the ladder from theUnderground Water Facility(Blade Nexus) inEl Ravaca Village. You can ignore theRevenant Devourerif you want andhead straight for the ladder up aheadto make your way inside the tunnel. Once you exit the tunnel, you can go straight toopen the shortcut to the Blade Nexusbeforegoing lefton the main path.
Go through the spider-infested rooms until you find a ladder that you can climb up into another tunnel. Now,stick along the left wall until you reach a room with two spiders and a glowing itemin the distance. Deal with the spiders and loot the item to get aLightning Enhancerand a Netherworld Energy upgrade.
Netherworld Energy Upgrade #4 - Atlante the Precise
Make your way to theDestroyed Ruins(Blade Nexus) inWastus Canyon. After talking toBellerian, you can go ahead and find anUndead Renowned Warrior’s Shadowand an elite version of the same enemy not far from there. Defeat them both, and be sure tohit them again once they are down to prevent them from getting revived. After that, go forward and you will spot a vase,next to which is the glowing item in plain sight. This will reward you with the fourth upgrade for your Netherworld Energy.
Netherworld Energy Upgrade #5 - The Vow
Progress through the Bonus Mission until you reach theForbidden Passage(Blade Nexus) in theGreat Temple Underground Ruins. Follow the main path, and soon you will come across an elite enemy—deal with it and go through the door you can open.Turn left and follow the path until you reach a split. Ignore the path on the left andhead right to reach a roomwith a few empowered enemies. Deal with them, then follow the main path againuntil you reach another split.
you may go right tofind a Jarling, but the main path is on the left. Continue along the main path until you reach a room with anUndead Ice Archerand twoUndead Shieldbearers.Hug the left wall, and you will find a glowing item, which is the fifth and final upgrade for the Netherworld Energy.
