Cyrodiil is home to several spell vendors, though, so aspiring mages can learn new spells whenever they want inOblivion Remasteredas long as they know where to look.
Just like in otherElder Scrollsgames, there are multiple different schools of magic inOblivion Remastered. Not every mage is skilled with every type of magic, however, so players must seek out the correct spell vendor to acquire new spells for their desired magic type. These vendors are typically located in close proximity to one another, but there may be some situations where a player needs a Destruction spell and can’t find any vendors that sell them. Some spells also have a high Magicka cost, soOblivion Remasteredplayers may need toupgrade their attributesin order to cast more powerful spells.
Where to Get New Spells in Oblivion Remastered
New spells can be purchased from spell vendors throughout Cyrodiil inOblivion Remastered. All spell merchants are located in major cities, typically inMages Guildchapters,Great Chapels, or the occasionalmagic shop. These are the only places to find spell merchants inOblivion Remastered, with one exception beingDunbarrow Cove.
Dunbarrow Cove is aDLC player homeincluded inOblivion Remastered. Locatedunderneath Anvil Castlein the city of Anvil on the western coast of Cyrodiil, players canupgrade Dunbarrow Cove and add new NPCs to the areawho sell spells and other things. Mages Guild branches and Great Chapels are still the best places to learn new spells, but Dunbarrow Cove also has some low-level spell vendors once the upgrades have been purchased.

After leveling up their magic skills high enough, players can visit the Arcane University in the Imperial City to learn the most powerful spells in the game. These spells are expensive, butOblivion Remasteredplayers can alwayspick some locks and “borrow” some new spellsif they’re short on gold.
