The Main Highlights Of Update 1 For Monster Hunter Wilds
For players unsure of what to expect from Update 1 of Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom has already revealed key details about its upcoming features. One of the main additions is Mizutsune, a newmonster set to challenge players, as well as the introduction of a new difficulty level above the Tempered tier, known as Arch-Tempered, with Rey Dau being included in this tier. So, hunters can prepare for tougher encounters and access new materials for crafting, especially the new Gamma Armors.
Zo Shia will also become available for players to face in the High Rank of Monster Hunter Wilds, as until now, he was limited to a main story encounter.
Another major addition in Update 1 ofMonster Hunter Wildsis the Grand Hub, a feature that was absent at launch. This area will serve players who engage with the game’s online functions, providing a central location to gather before embarking on hunts. It offers an organized space for preparing gear and strategies, similar to systems in previous entries.
The Grand Hub will also improve social interaction among players in the same lobby ofMonster Hunter Wilds. Unlike Base Camps, it includes shared spaces where hunters can dine together. New mission types, such as Arena Quests, introduce Time Trial challenges where players must defeat monsters using specific builds, where players will compete against others in search of the best times to climb the arena ranking.
