Weekly events are easily one of the most exciting parts ofClash Royale. With every new season, these events roll out and let players jump into intense PvP battles. Some events give you a shot at trying out cards you haven’t unlocked yet, whileothers bring in fresh Evolution cardsto experiment with. You’ll see different types, like Draft, Triple Draft, Evolution Mayhem, and more.
Previously, winning these events earned you seasonal tokens that could be traded in the Season Shop for all kinds of cool rewards. But recently, many players have noticed that the Season Shop has disappeared from the game, leaving them confused about where to redeem their prizes. So, if you’re wonderingwhere the Season Shop wentand how to get your event rewards now, here’s a detailed explanation.
What Happened to Clash Royale’s Season Shop?
With the April 2025 update,Clash Royalehasofficially shut downthe Season Shop for good. That means players won’t be collecting seasonal tokens anymore or spending them on rewards like Wild Shards, Magic Items, or Coin Bags. These rewards will instead come in a different way now.
The Season Shop used to be a fun motivator for many players to hop into events, but not everyone actually used it. Some folks didn’t even know it existed, so they never really got to take full advantage of it. To make things easier and more useful, the devs decided to switch things up.
Now, instead of trading tokens,you’ll earn crownsbywinning battles in weekly events. These crowns go straight toward unlocking rewards in the Free Pass, making it more straightforward for everyone.
How to Claim Event Rewards in Clash Royale
To get your weekly event rewards inClash Royale, head over to theBattle section, tap onPass Royale(you’ll find it in the top right corner), and scroll through theavailable rewards.
Each tier needs a set number of crowns to unlock (usually 10); you may earn those by playing event matches. For example, if you take down all three towers in one match, you’ll earn six crowns. So, to unlock a 10-crown reward, you’ll need to win two matches like that. Any extra crowns you earn will carry over to the next tier.
On top of that,players can also get up to three Lucky Drops, daily gold, and cards by winning in events, especially if they haven’t already claimed them through normal arena battles. One neat change with this new reward system is that the Free Pass now includesWild Shards, which weren’t part of it before. So, now you may collect them just like you did from the Season Shop. As forEvolution Shardsand theBook of Cards, those will instead come from Milestone and Community Events.
