As recently revealed byresetthepicture on Twitter, an early build of the canceledRidge Racergame developed by Bandai Namco Studios Singapore has been leaked online. The game was built using Unreal Engine 4, and the post included video footage of the unreleased title. Additionally, a menu screen for the gameLEGO Civilizationwas leaked, along with development builds ofSplatoon 2,Arms, andRime, all of which were reportedly found on the development kit. It’s believed that the footage was obtained from a Nintendo Switch development kit that was sold online.

The long-runningRidge Racerseries has seen multiple entries over the years and remains a relatively well-known racing franchise, especially during its heyday. Earlier this year,Nintendo Switch Online addedRidge Racer 64to its ever-growing collection of N64 titles. While the recent leak of what was intended to be the latest installment in the series allows players to glimpse the visuals and limited gameplay, it’s unsure whether the footage will reignite interest in the dormant franchise.
