Undisputed Reveals Update 1.3

On March 31, Steel City Interactive pulled back the curtain onthe nextUndisputedupdatewith a short video breaking down all of the biggest improvements. The free content update is set to go live on April 2 and will include rebalanced block effectiveness, updates to AI’s blocking effectiveness, online instant replays, career mode changes and new customization features, new venues, and more. With the update yet to be released, full patch notes are expected to be shared on April 2. Whether or not fans can expect any other improvements outside of what was mentioned in the video remains unclear.

While theaddition of newUndisputedfighterswas not mentioned in the update video, a new post on the game’s Twitter account did seem to tease the addition of some currently unreleased fighters. Steel City posted a short clip to theUndisputedTwitter account with the caption, “Pause when it feels right and choose your next fighter on Undisputed.” While there are numerous fighters in the clip that are already available in-game, boxers such as Shannon Briggs, Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch, and more look to be joining the game in the future. However, it’s currently unknown if they will be released as paid DLC fighters or if they will be available as part of the free content update on April 2.

There are still plenty of bugs andgameplay issues affectingUndisputedplayers, with many hoping for some major improvements in patch 1.3. One of the most notable issues fans want to see fixed is the 8th round bug, which is preventing the round from being scored by judges. Players have also been calling for major improvements to the game’s punch accuracy, as many feel as though there is a clear issue with punches landing on their opponents. Fans have also made countless other requests, including head movement improvements, the ability to clinch, and a fix for “phantom punches” in online mode. Hopefully, some of these many issues will be addressed in the patch notes for update 1.3 on April 2.
