Summary
Now thatThe Last of UsSeason 2 is out, fans can expect to see plenty of cool references they have enjoyed fromThe Last of Us Part 2, and one beloved scene between Dina and Ellie has been made even better due to Bella Ramsey going above and beyond to make sure it was faithfully adapted to the show.
Even though Season One ofThe Last of Ussaw quite a few changes from Naughty Dog’s game, likeBill and Frank getting their very own backstory, the introduction to the ruthless leader of Kansas City’s resistance group, Kathleen, and Ellie’s birth scene, Season 2 will mostly stay true to its main plot and for those who haven’t played the sequel, it’ll certainly entail some very dark themes. Fans have already seen thatJoel is going to therapy in Season 2 with Gail, a pot-smoking therapist and resident of Jackson, but things don’t seem to be going too well, as it was discovered that Joel had to kill her husband, Eugene. However, the main crux of the premiere was Ellie and Joel’s strained relationship and how different the pair had become from what they were before. As the episodes continue, more turmoil is in store for the pair as tragic events unfold, but beneath the show’s somber exterior, one wholesome moment can be celebrated.
