He was pierced by one of the projectiles and tragically lost his life, with the only solace being that the Curse Mark that relegated him as a member of the Branch Family faded away as he finally secured his independence. Naruto was incensed by Obito’s actions and used this sacrifice as fuel to take out Obito once and for all.

Gaara died after having his Tailed Beast forcibly removed from his body, causing everyone to shed a tear for this loss. This is when Chiyo decides to make the ultimate sacrifice, using her life force to revive Gaara.

Jiraiya didn’t intend to lose his life against Pain, but he had no idea what he was in for when he took on his former student in battle. The fact that Pain’s bodies could regenerate took him by surprise as he was overwhelmed by the antagonist, but he never gave up.
Learning Pain’s secret was important to save the Leaf Village, and he decided to sacrifice his life if it meant that Konoha could be saved from Pain’s inevitable assault. Despite being on his last legs,he refused to give up and took a page out of his student’s book, using his final moments to carve out a critical message on Fukasaku’s back and give his allies the information they needed to counter the Six Paths of Pain.

Minato had to use the Reaper Death Seal to prevent Kurama from obliterating the Leaf Village, but the Nine-Tails decided to take out a crying Naruto to prevent this fate from befalling him.
Both Minato and Kushina didn’t even think twice, throwing themselves in front of Naruto to prevent their child from being killed. They used their final moments to give Naruto some valuable advice before sealing the Nine-Tails and dying with smiles on their faces, content with the fact that their child would live to see another day.
