First Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster Update Will Address One Big PC Oversight

In terms of changes and quality-of-life additions, the upcoming update will address one big oversight with the PC version ofSuikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster: the inability to close it natively. Right now,PC gamersplaying the Steam version of the remaster bundle either need to use the ALT+F4 shortcut or open the Steam overlay (Shift + Tab by default) and then click the “Exit Game” option in the top-left corner to close it. The first post-launch patch will also introduce the ability to change the background music playback speed when using the option to play battles at twice the speed.

Other quality-of-life improvements arriving as part of the upcoming update include the ability to disable the sound of footsteps and toggle auto-save. The patch will also refine the Retrieve option in the storage room, providingSuikoden 1 and 2 HD Remasterplayers with at-glance info on whether a given piece of gear can be equipped and what its effects on the selected unit’s stats will be. Konami also promised to work on some discrepancies between different localizations and fix an issue with healing Runes that causes them to not work as intended if used on the battlefield when there are still empty slots in the party.
