Getting a new director to work on Solo Levelingand get its third season produced is actually not impossible. There are many great anime directors out there, but for now, any words of the studio switching directors for Solo Leveling Season 3 would just be rumors, and fans will have to wait and see if any change is made.
If they indeed get a new director for Solo Leveling, then the series could definitely drop on time just like season 2 did. But a different director could impact the third season, as each director has their own vision for a series.
For now, Nakashige Shunsuke remains the main director for this hit anime, and at the moment, Solo Leveling Season 3 is projected to drop at a later time in 2026.
