There are quite a few side easter eggs inBlack Ops 6’s Zombies map, Shattered Veil, and one of them includes sleeping in Richtofen’s bed and waking up to find a whole army of snoozing zombies, floating Zs above their heads and all. It’snot just a funny easter eggforBlack Ops 6, but also serves a purpose for giving players sweet loot.
While this is anodd side easter eggfor Shattered Veil, it’s one that every player should try once, especially if they want to acquire some Zombie Intel and some neat loot on an easy activity that can take place as early as Round 11, so here’s how.
How to Find the Sleepwalking Easter Egg in Shattered Veil
Playerscan only do this easter egg on Round 11, and in order to begin, players mustinteract with the grandfather clock found in the south-west corner of the Study, which is the room just before the East Balconywhere Elemental Pop is located. Interacting with the grandfather clock on Round 11 will see the short-hand and long-hand spin to 12, and now players will want to head to the Director’s Quarters.
From the Director’s Quarters,enter prone on the main bed and kill the last zombie of Round 11 to progress to Round 12. This takes a while, but remain prone on the bed. If done correctly, the screen will fade to black, and when it returns, players will wake up in the bed with a bunch of footprints leading out of the room, with some sleeping zombies.
It’s very important that players do not run or shoot the sleeping zombies, as making noise and waking them will start a timer. Players should crouch walk off of the bed, following the footsteps outside and past the sleeping zombies tolocate a chest and a zombie that has yellow-colored ‘Zs’coming from its head. Thezombie with the key to the crate will always be the Armored Zombie.
As soon as players find the special zombie, kill it and pick up the key to open the container, where inside, players will have free Essence, Salvage, a potentialAmmo Mod/Scorestreak, andA Monstrous Proposal Zombie Intel.
