The Shattered Veil is shaping up to be one of the biggest Zombies maps inBlack Ops 6, featuringa challenging main Easter Egg quest, powerful new enemies, and tons of secrets to uncover. It also delivers a thrilling experience for all players, especially those looking to complete side Easter Eggs.
While some players may havealready tackled the Shattered Veil’s Music Easter Egg, others might be looking to get their hands on high-rarity loot. Fortunately, the map includes a Jumpscare Easter Egg, similar to those found in previous maps, but with an added bonus—players can earn a free Perk and more upon completing it. Here’show to complete the Jumpscare Easter Egg in the Shattered Veil.
How To Complete The Jumpscare Easter Egg In The Shattered Veil
Before players canbegin the jumpscare Easter Egg, they must firstequip a thermal scope on any weapon of their choice.While any thermal scope will do, we opted for the Otero Thermal 2x Optic on the AK-74. Once players have their weapon of choice and have started a game of the Shattered Veil, they will then need toprogress all the way to round 13to begin the Easter Egg.
To trigger the jumpscare Easter Egg, players will need tolocate a ghostly figure that spawns at one of five different windowsaround the mansion. The ghost itself will be clearly visible if players aim at any of these windows using a thermal scope, and once players aim at the ghost, it will vanish and reappear at another window. Players will need torepeat this step a total of five times.The ghost can appear in any one of the mansion’s windows at the following locations:
While the first four windows where the ghost appears seem to be random, the fifth location will always be the window at the South West Balcony, justnear the PHD Flopper Perk Machine.
If players view the ghost from the South West Balcony for the fifth and final time, they can thenprogress over to the Nursery.In the room just before PHD Flopper’s location, players willfind an antique mirror.Interacting with this mirror at this stage will trigger a jumpscare.
Once the jumpscare has concluded, players will be able toloot the antique mirror to acquire a free Perkand other high-value goodies, which can range from Wonder Weapons and Scorestreaks to even an Epic or Legendary Aether Tool.
