Summary

Indie developer TVGS has released a brand-new update for the smash-hit co-op simulation title,Schedule 1, adding tons of new content, features, and more. The update, which was previously available in beta before receiving a full release for all players on April 10, bringsSchedule 1to version 0.3.4 with new decorations, some new gameplay tweaks and improvements, bug fixes, and the ability to sell items at the Pawn Shop.

Despite the project being created by one solo developer,Schedule 1has been a massive success on Steam. Shortly after the game’s early access release on March 24,Schedule 1skyrocketed past 130,000 concurrent players. The hit indie game would then go on to peak at a monumental 459,075 concurrent players on April 6, less than two weeks after its launch. With the title now sitting comfortably in Steam’s top five most-played games, fans are eager to see more new content and improvements make their way toSchedule 1. Thankfully, TVGS remains committed to the title and has once again launched a new patch filled with new content, bug fixes, gameplay tweaks, and more.

Earlier this week, TVGS released anew update forSchedule 1in beta. Now, just three days later, the solo developer has deployed the new content update for all Steam players. Patch v0.3.4 is available to download right now and includes numerous different decorations and items, as well as the ability to sell “pretty much anything” at the Pawn Shop. There are also numerous gameplay tweaks and improvements, such as an improved counteroffer product selection interface, new phrasing for customer recommendation dialogue, an increased jar stack size of 20, and much more. The update also includes a handful of bug fixes, details of which can be found in the patch notes further down this article.

WhileSchedule 1isn’t currently one of themany indie games verified for the Steam Deck, that could soon change. TVGS has noted that it is looking into improving optimization with future updates and would “like to get Steam Deck officially supported as soon as possible.” At the time of writing, Valve has markedSchedule 1as “playable” on the Steam Deck, but the title isn’t currently verified. According to the game’s official Steam page, some functionality is not accessible when using the default controller configuration, and there appear to be numerous other text-related issues with the game on the Deck.

Schedule 1may be a huge hit on Steam, but a fellow developer appears to have taken issue with the title. Shortly after the game found massive success on Steam,Drug Deal Simulatorpublisher Move Games S.A. revealed thatSchedule 1is under investigationfor potential copyright infringement. The publisher later went on to clarify that there is “no ill will” toward TVGS and that it does not want to prevent the solo developer from sellingSchedule 1.
