How to Get a Skateboard in Schedule 1

Players can buy skateboards fromShred Shack, a shop that is situatedbetween Dan’s Hardware and the Chinese Restaurant. While players who have worked through the first fewtasks inSchedule 1may already know where to find those locations, the precise position of Shred Shack, has been marked on the following map for the sake of full clarity.

Upon arriving at Shred Shack, players should talk to Jeff to view the boards that he has available. Players are then free to purchase whichever board they can afford, and there are five from which they can choose:

While players who are flush withmoney inSchedule 1may want to purchase one of the high-end boards straightaway, the standard, $250 Skateboard should be sufficient as a starting point.

To note, the Shred Shack is only open between the hours of 6am and 6pm. Additionally, someSchedule 1playersreport that they are not given the option to purchase skateboards from Jeff when they are playing with friends, though that issue can easily be addressed by joining a solo lobby and trying again.

How to Use a Skateboard in Schedule 1

Once a player has purchased a skateboard from Shred Shack, they will find that it has appeared in theaction bar at the bottom of the screen. Players should then select the slot to which the board has been assigned andhold the left mouse buttonto mount it. Players can then use WASD to control the skateboard’s direction, and they can use Space to jump while riding.

Players can increase the height of their jumps while skateboarding by briefly holding Space and then releasing it.

When a player is ready to dismount the skateboard, they can either press the left mouse button or the Esc key. This makes it very easy to hop on and off the skateboard, and that is something that players will want to do frequently as they move across the map.

Skateboard Differences in Schedule 1

With respect to how the skateboards differ, the general rule of thumb is the more expensive the board, the faster it is. That said, there are two boards at the $500 price point, and they differ in a unique way: the Lightweight Skateboard has a slightly higher jump, while the Cruiser has slightly higher speed. Players need not worry about this subtle distinction when they reach the Gold Skateboard, though, as it is exceeds the Cruiser’s speed and rivals the Lightweight Skateboard’s jump.
