Xbox and PlayStation gamers can expect to play the popular PC shooterReady or Notsometime this summer.Ready or Notwas initially released on PC in December 2023 and has become quite popular, with developer VOID Interactive having released two DLCs for the game since. The PC version of the game sits at a 79 on Metacritic, but the game is about to receive two new scores on the aggregate site for its upcoming Xbox and PlayStation ports.
A tactical first-person shooter,Ready or Notstands out from the crowd by introducing its SWAT team management system where players are tasked with making sure the mental states of their NPC team members remain “healthy.” Players are able to send squad mates to therapy in order to improve, and team members can leave on their own volition if their mental states deteriorate too much.Ready or Notalso supports co-op, and VOID has a competitive PvP mode planned to come to the game at some point in the future.
Gamers on Xbox and PlayStation will be able to playReady or Notvery soon, as VOID announced the game’s console port release window, Summer 2025, in a new trailer. In a comment below the YouTube trailer, VOID added thatReady or Notwill support full crossplay, allowing players on PC to team up with the new Xbox and PlayStation gamers.
Ready or Not Coming to Console This Summer
While this is surely great news forconsole gamers who’ve been eagerly awaitingReady or Not, VOID still has yet to confirm when its promised PvP mode will be added to the game. It’s possible that the mode might come as part of the console release, and if so, VOID may be waiting until that planned release date draws nearer before doling out info on the game’s competitive mode. Of course, it’s expected that PvP will arrive on PC and console simultaneously, though this hasn’t been concretely confirmed by VOID.
WithReady or Not’s console release receiving a broad summer window, it’s likely that the game will pop up one more time at some sort of showcase or event with its actual Xbox and PlayStation release date.Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest in Juneseems like the most likely destination for such an update.
