Glaives may not be as popular as some of the other weapon archetypes inDestiny 2, but even if you’re not a glaive enjoyer,Rake Angle is worth your time. It’s a Legendary Stasis glaive that comes with strong utility perks to synergize with Stasis builds and dominate PvE.

Destiny 2: Rake Angle PvE God Roll

Rake Angleis a Stasis glaive. Like any respectable Special Stasis weapon, it has Chill Clip in the fourth column, making it a great utility weapon for most PvE activities. If you prefer glaives over fusion rifles or sidearms, Rake Angle is a perfect choice.

Chill Clip

Range

Chill Clipcreates an explosion with direct hits from the top half of the magazine that applies Slow stacks to nearby targets. This allows you to control the battlefield and take advantage of debuffed enemies. Applying Slow stacks stuns Overload Champions, and with enough stacks, you may freeze a target, making this perk capable of stunning Unstoppable Champions, too. Anti-Champion capabilities also pair well with theStunning Recovery Origin Trait, which starts health regeneration, increases recovery, and reloads the weapon when stunning a Champion.

There are a few options in the third column, depending on what you need.Rimestealergrants Frost Armor when defeating a frozen target or destroying a Stasis crystal. This grants more survivability in higher-end content, especially if you have other sources of Slow or Stasis crystals. Alternatively, you can go forReplenishing Aegis, which partially refills the magazine when blocking damage. It allows you to keep your magazine consistently topped off to trigger Chill Clip.

Other notable perks include Overflow, which loads the magazine beyond capacity when picking up an ammo brick, and Lead from Gold, which grants Special ammo when picking up a Heavy ammo brick.

Destiny 2: Rake Angle PvP God Roll

Glaives in PvP are a niche choice, to say the least. Rake Angle has a few perks to try out in the Crucible, but it might be challenging to outperform the shotguns and fusion rifles that dominate the Special weapon meta.

Unstoppable Force

Impulse Amplifierin the third column increases reload speed and, most importantly, projectile velocity, making it more reliable for landing shots.Unstoppable Forcein the fourth column grants a 20% increase to projectile damage after blocking damage with the glaive shield. The damage buff disappears when you stop blocking, so you must adjust your playstyle to account for that.

If rushing in close is more your playstyle, you can also go for Close to Melee or Swashbuckler in the fourth column. Close to Melee requires a kill with a glaive projectile for a 30% damage increase, while Swashbuckler needs a melee kill for a 33.3% increase.
