Every week, a tier of the Battle League becomes available, and players can earn additional rewards by participating in Cups, such as the Spring Cup: Great League Edition.

Niantic updated its schedule forPokemon GOMight and MasteryBattle League for the week of April 15 through April 22 at 1:00 p.m. PST, confirming that Master League and Spring Cup: Great League Edition are both active. Pokemon Trainers who compete in Master League and Spring Cup: Great League Edition will earn 4x Stardust with their win rewards, which doesn’t include end-of-set rewards. However, there are some restrictions thatPokemon GOplayers should consider before finalizing their team. Firstly, Pokemon must have 1,500 CP or less to enter Spring Cup: Great League Edition, and only Water-, Grass-, and Fairy-type Pokemon are eligible to enter. In addition, Jumpluff, Roserade, and Toxapex aren’t able to participate in the Cup either, according to Niantic’sblog post.

What’s more, Niantic confirmed that Great League Remix will make its return in the week of April 29 through May 6. The CP restriction from Spring Cup: Great League Edition applies again, and the top 20 most used Pokemon by players ranked Ace and above from the Great League are ineligible for Great League Remix. These Pokemon include Blastoise, Wigglytuff, Marowak, Galarian Weezing, Lapras, Feraligatr, Azumarill, Jumpluff, Sableye, Cradily, Gastrodon, Drapion, Serperior, Mandibuzz, Talonflame, Malamar, Golisopod, Morpeko, Annihilape, and Clodsire.

As previously revealed earlier in the season,Pokemon GOplayers can earn guaranteed encounters with select Pokemon by reaching Ace, Veteran, Expert, and Legend ranks. During Might and Mastery, players can earn guaranteed encounters with Vullaby, Morpeko, Frigibax, Dreepy, Dreepy, and Pikachu Libre by rising up the ranks. There’s also Battle League-themed Timed Research to obtain inthePokemon GOin-game shop. The Timed Research will keep track of the player’s Battle League victories throughout the season, and each research page requires 100 wins to complete. Stardust, Rare Candy XL, Elite Fast TM, and Elite Charged TM are some of the rewards that players can unlock by getting those important wins in the Might and Mastery Battle League.

This season’sPokemon GOBattle League will culminate with GO Battle Week: Might and Mastery, which lasts from May 21 at 12:00 a.m. to May 27 at 11:59 p.m. local time. The 4x Stardust bonus applies once more during GO Battle Week, and there will be free battle-themed Timed Research as well. One of the rewards includes an avatar hat inspired by Mustard.
