Pokemon GOhas announced the debut of the Tinkatink evolutionary line in the Pokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration event on April 16. While some generations are already fully available inPokemon GO, others, such as Gen 9, still have pocket monsters to be added to the augmented-reality game.
The arrival of Paldea inPokemon GOhappened in September 2023, when 21 Gen 9 Pokemon debuted in the game. This first wave added Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, their evolutions, and other popular names like Lechonk and Pawmot. Since then, Niantic has periodically brought more Paldean critters, such as Shroodle and Grafaiai, whichdebuted inPokemon GOearlier this year, and Paldean Tauros, available in a new event until April 7. Now, developers have announced that another Gen 9 Pokemon is finally coming to the game.
Pokemon GOannounced the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions for the upcoming Pokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration event. It will start on Wednesday, April 16, at 10 am and end on Tuesday, July 28, 2025, at 8 pm local time. During this period, players can hatch Tinkatink from 7 km eggs. After the event, the monster may hatch from 10 km eggs. Players can use 25 Tinkatink Candy to evolve Tinkatink into Tinkatuff. In addition, 100 Tinkatink Candy can be used to evolve Tinkatuff into Tinkaton, one ofScarlet and Violet’s most popular Pokemon.
In addition to Tinkatink, trainers can hatch Elekit, Hatenna, and Charcadet from 7 km eggs. Niantic will increase the spawn of 10 Pokemon, including Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin. Trainers can find the shiny variant of this Floragato and Pikachu with Cap’s hat, with this Pikachu knowing the Charged Attack Volt Tackle. MoreTeam GO Rocket balloonswill appear during the event, and trainers will only need half the distance required to hatch eggs. A $4.99 Paid Timed Research will give benefits including encounters with Tinkatink and an Incubator. Like other events, Pokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration will feature one- and three-star raids, new Field Research tasks, PokeStops Showcases, free Timed Research, and a new box for purchase in the web store.
ThePokemon GOevent calendar for April is packed with activities to keep players engaged, such as thedebuts of Gossifleur and Eldegossin the Spring to Spring event that will run from April 9 to 14. Another highlight of the month is the debut of Gigantamax Snorlax on April 19 at the upcoming Max Battle Day.
