Games Being Removed From PS Plus in May 2025

Undoubtedly, the most notable of the 22gamesleaving PS Pluswill beGrand Theft Auto 5, which only made its return to the service in November 2024. However, this isn’t the first time Rockstar Games' critically acclaimed title has left the service, which means there’s a strong chance it will return in the future.Grand Theft Auto 5was last removed from PS Plus in June 2024, before making a return in November 2024. Now, six months later, it will be leaving along with some other heavy hitters on May 20.

It’s also looking like a bad month for VR fans, as some of thebest games for PSVR 2are also being removed. In total, five PSVR 2 titles will be removed from PlayStation Plus on May 20, includingThe Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners(both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2),Synth Riders,Before Your Eyes, andGhostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord.
