How Do Endurance Charges Work in PoE 2

Endurance Charge is a type of buff that can be consumed to empower certain attacks that support it.Only certain skills that explicitly state that they interact with Endurance Charges do so, and these charges are not interchangeable with Power Charges and Frenzy Charges; those two have their own special Skills they interact with.

How to Gain Endurance Charges in PoE 2

There are multiple ways to gain Endurance Charges inPath of Exile 2, and most of them are from theWarrior class. They are:

Magma Barrier

Warrior Skill

When you raise your Shield it is infused with magma for a short time. Blocking during this time will spray magma at the attacker and grant you an Endurance Charge.

Break Endurance

40% chance to gain an Endurance Charge when Supported Skills Fully Break Armour

Passive Notable

30% increased Stun Buildup

Gain an Endurance Charge when you Heavy Stun a Rare or Unique Enemy

How to Increase Maximum Endurance Charges in PoE 2

The default maximum number of Endurance Charges players can have at any one time is 3. Players can increase this number through the following skills and items.

Recover 3% of maximum Life for each Endurance Charge consumed

How to Consume Endurance Charges in PoE 2

Warrior Skills and items consume Endurance Charges to empower themselves to devastating effect. Here are all the ways players can use Endurance Charges in the game:

Infernal Cry

Perform a warcry, Empowering subsequent Attacks. Consumes all Endurance Charges to Empower additional attacks. Enemies in the warcry’s area are destabilized and will Combust on death.

Seismic Cry

Perform a damaging warcry, Knocking Back nearby enemies. If a Heavy Stunned enemy is hit, your next Slam is Empowered to perform an additional Aftershock. If not, this skill’s cooldown is reset. Only counts Heavily Stunned enemies for purposes of counting Power Gained.

Shielding Cry

Perform a warcry, Empowering subsequent Shield Attacks if there are enemies nearby. Consumes all Endurance Charges to Empower additional attacks. Empowered Shield skills perform a counterattack on hit or block, consuming one Empower.

Charge Infusion

Skill

While active, you gain powerful Buffs based on your active Charges. However, maintaining the Buff Consumes Charges every few seconds.

Rally

Supports Melee Attacks you use yourself. Supported Skills Consume all Endurance Charge on use, causing you to restore a percentage of your maximum Life for each Charge Consumed.
