Upon activation, Disengage will cause the Huntress to backflip a significant distance, becoming immune to physical attacks and projectiles while also attacking with a spear flourish.

After a short delay, the spear will explode, dealing a wide area of damage to nearby targets. This skill is incredibly useful against projectile enemies that spit acid, teleport away, or have projectiles of their own.

Thunderous Leap has amazing synergies with multiple support gems inPath of Exile 2, such as Fist of War and elemental options to elevate the skill’s damage. What makes Thunderous Leap shine is that it acts as a detonation skill, which can trigger many of the Huntress’s skills' secondary effects.
