Saitama, the titular “one punch man” in the showOne Punch Man, possesses an incalculable power that puts him head and shoulders above every other character we have seen so far. The caped baldy has defeated every opponent he has come up against with relative ease, using his serious series of moves only sparingly.
However,One Punch Manhas so far not pitted many of the heroes directly against him. With so many unknowns, what would happen if every single hero decided to team up against Saitama? Is it possible that he could lose regardless of his immense strength?Despite Saitama’s seemingly invincibility, the heroes have some options to stop him or at least force him to concede defeat.
Just a Hero for Fun
Would Saitama’s Morals Hold Him Back?
Despite his immense power,Saitama has expressed reluctance to use itto oppress others. He consistently chastises villains who abuse their power for bad purposes despite understanding the feeling of having such extreme power himself. During his fight with Boros, Saitama compared the dominator of the universe to a telemarketer for how awful he was for going around and breaking everything because he was bored and looking for a worthy fight.
I’m just a guy who’s a hero for fun.
In a scenario where every hero teams up against him, it’s likely Saitama wouldn’t want to use his powers to even a moderate level to defend himself if it meant destroying them. If everyone teamed up against him, Saitama might consider just running away or leaving the planet rather than trying to defeat them all. It’s possible he might also just allow himself to be hit repeatedly, hoping the heroes tire themselves out. Another possibility is that he might concede a loss voluntarily and may allow himself to be contained or captured somehow by the heroes' combined might to get the fighting to stop.
What to Watch Out For
Could Saitama Be Defeated?
Assuming that Saitama is at least willing to fight every single hero in this hypothetical scenario, there may still be ways that the heroes have to defeat him in actual combat. Although not yet revealed in the anime, the #1 rank hero Blast has some ways to impede Saitama. He possesses the ability to create long-distance portals, which could remove Saitama from the battlefield and technically could count as a win for the hero team. During Saitama’s fight with Garou in space, the caped baldy was nearly left behind by a portal as Garou fled. Saitama was only saved by an accidental super-powered fart that propelled him into a portal before it closed. IfSaitama lets his guard downand doesn’t take the fight seriously, he could be sent to a faraway place that would at least count as a temporary loss for him.
Because Saitama has thus far not been shown to take any damage throughout the show, it’s hard to say what level of power is required to crack his god-like durability. However, the strength of some of the heavy hitters in the hero world is also unknown. Although it’s unlikely that a hidden strength exists among the heroes that could damage Saitama on its own, the possibility of it existing means that a combined effort of all the strongest heroes is the best chance of finding out whatthe limits to Saitama’s durabilityare, if any.

The Most Likely Scenario
In the most likely scenario where every hero teams up against Saitama and where both sides have the intent of defeating the other, it is unlikely Saitama would lose. He would most likely absorb or dodge every one of their attacks, defeating the weaker ones in mass before taking the stronger ones one at a time.
The heroes’ best chancewould be to use Genosto distract or manipulate Saitama long enough for Blast to send him away in a portal, leading to Saitama being sealed away or his temporary defeat before he is able to leap back from wherever he was sent to. Aside from this unlikely out for the heroes, there is no good reason shown in theOne Punch Manseries so far why Saitama doesn’t win against the combined might of the heroes most of the time.
