After Naruto concluded, Oda drew a special illustration commemorating the conclusion of the series. However, the appreciation doesn’t stop there.
One Piece Pays Tribute To Naruto
One Piece Episode 1127 paid homage to Naruto’s signature technique, the Shadow Clone jutsu. In the episode, Kizaruused his Pika Pika no Mi to create clones. While these clones might not have the same power distribution as the ones that Naruto Uzumaki produces, they are not to be trifled with.
Kizaru seems to have used this technique previously, as he exhibited outstanding coordination with the clones. Together, they managed to bedazzleLuffy, who is an Advanced Observation Haki user. In fact, Luffy was unable to land a clean hit on Kizaru while he was using this particular technique.
Luffy Saves Vegapunk’s Life Again
Many expected Luffy vs. Kizaru to be wrapped up in Episode 1127, but that wasn’t the case. The two fighters went all out, yet neither of them could land a decisive blow. Towards the end of the episode, Kizaru even changed his priorities. The Admiral decides to pursue and kill Vegapunk instead of fighting Luffy.
This was a smartmove by Kizaru because he knew that beatingLuffy would take time. He went back inside the building to take out Vegapunk, but the scientist had run away to protect Bonney from the Marines. Stella and Atlas were traveling in a vehicle, and they were joined by Sanji. It didn’t take long for Kizaru to locate the vehicle and subsequently launch an attack. However, it was intercepted by Luffy, who decided to eat it. The method was certainly unorthodox, but the Straw Hat was able to save Vegapunk’s life.
The Fight Will Come To An End Soon
Gear 5th is Luffy’s strongest form, but he cannot maintain it for too long,as evidenced by his fight with Lucci. So, Luffy needs to put his foot on the pedal and quickly finish the fight. It would be remiss not to mention that Luffy is taking the fight lightly. He caught Kizaru several times, but he didn’t deal any serious damage to him. Luffy knows better than to mess around with a fighter of Kizaru’s caliber for too long. Hence, fans can expect Luffy to drop his nonchalant attitude, or else, Kizaru will be at a significant advantage.
The Admiral is armed with a deadly Devil Fruit that he has more or less mastered. He can also use Haki with a great degree of skill. With such abilities, it won’t be too difficult for Kizaru to finish off Luffy when he loses Gear 5th.
Zoro and Lucci Also Appeared In The Episode
Zoro and Lucci also made an appearance in the episode. Zoro challengedLucci after the CP0 agent nearlykilled Stussy with Shigan. The Straw Hat knows that Lucci is an exceptional opponent, and he doesn’t care about anyone who stands in his way. If Zoro doesn’t hold him off, Lucci will wreak havoc against the Straw Hat Pirates.

Currently, both fighters are using their best abilities, as they know it’s futile to hold back. Naturally, Lucci is using his Devil Fruit Awakening while Zoro is utilizing the King of Hell. So far, neither of them has the upper hand in the battle, but all it takes is a momentary lapse of concentration to decide the outcome.
The next episode of One Piece will properly introduce Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn, one of the Gorosei. He took it upon himself to handle Vegapunk’s betrayal, and it seems that he is done playing games. Jaygarcia Saturn will likely reveal his powers in the upcoming episode, and it will definitely affect the future of Egghead Island.
