Quick Links
One Pieceis currently focusing on the Straw Hat Pirates as they attempt to deal with the threat posed by the Holy Knights in the Warland, Elbaf. This story arc has started off with a bang, and it goes without saying that Elbaf will continue to raise the heat as the plot progresses. Undoubtedly, the Holy Knights area massive threat to the people of Elbaf, given that they’ve already put the country in disarray.
To take them down, the Straw Hat Pirates need to be at their best. However, it must also be remembered that the crew is nowhere near its full strength. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, the three strongest members of the Straw Hat Pirates are currently not available for battle, which means all the responsibility falls on the remaining members of the crew. Against the Holy Knights, victory is not going to be easy, which is precisely why the Straw Hats need major power-ups moving forward.
The Holy Knights Are Beastly Immortal Fighters
The Holy Knights are known to be ferocious fighters in One Piece, and fans know that already. Their strength is absolutely immense, given that just three of them can shake a country as strong as Elbaf. One of their leaders, Shamrock Figarland, is most certainly as strong as a Yonko, while their Supreme Commander, Garling, is an Elder and likely even stronger. All that is to say that the Holy Knights are absolute beasts in combat. The ones on Elbaf might not be the strongest of the lot, but they are still formidable enough to pose problems for a Yonko crew, as seen inOne Piecechapter 1145, where Gunko alone defeated Brook, Nami, Usopp, and Jinbe.
Don’t mistake us for humans. We’re Gods! — Gunko to the Straw Hat Pirates
To make things worse for the Straw Hats, the Holy Knights are also immortal. Any damage that is dealt to them is pointless as they simply regenerate from everything. Fans know that it isn’t going to be easy for the Straw Hat Pirates to win against such monstrously powerful individuals, but the fact is that they’ve sworn to do just that. The Straw Hats won’t let the Giants down, which means they need to get stronger and that Oda must have some power-ups for them.
The Straw Hats Will Get Power-Ups Vs The Holy Knights
Haki Is The Most Likely Power-Up
The Straw Hat Pirates are strong as they are, but they’re not strong enough to take down the Holy Knights. This is precisely why they would need to level up their game. The most likely power-up that the Straw Hat Pirates will get in One Piece’s Elbaf arc is Haki. For Usopp, Armament Haki would be great. For Robin, Armament and Observation Haki is an absolute necessity if she’s supposed to win vs Sommers, and for Nami, at least Observation Haki is a must. For Jinbe, it would be great if he unlocks Advanced Armament Haki.
We won’t let them take the kids, no matter what! — Gaban and Robin
Scopper Gaban Might Teach The Straw Hats In Battle
Gaban Is A Haki Master
One character who couldplay a big role in taking down the Holy Knights is Scopper Gaban. He’s known to be a monstrously powerful individual, and he doesn’t have a Devil Fruit, which means he possesses menacing Haki. Gaban might very well teach applications of Haki to the Straw Hats and that would certainly be incredible to see.
