Loki was revealed to be the Accursed Prince who has only ever caused problems for the country, and above all, committed the grave sin of kin slaying by murdering his own father in cold blood. It is also said that Loki stolethe legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf, which he then went on to consume and set out to the sea.

While Loki’s Devil Fruit power remains unknown to this day, fans do know that he claims to hold the power of the Sun God, and if his words are to be taken literally, he holds enough power to destroy the whole world. Loki is immensely powerful and the next few chapters ofOne Pieceare going to reiterate that once again, which is something that fans are incredibly eager to see. While fans are excited to see his full capabilities, likely through a flashback, Oda already delivered a short glimpse of his past inOne Piecechapter 1145. It is safe to say that this glimpse was rather shocking as nobody expected it, and on top of that, fans also know that in this short glimpse, Oda revealed a character who defeated Loki in the past.
The First Pirate To Beat Loki Was Rocks D. Xebec
Xebec Refused To Let Loki Join His Crew
As far as the pirates who defeated Loki go, the very first one to accomplish that was noneother than the legendary individual, Rocks D. Xebec. As was seen clearly in One Piece chapter 1145, Loki was immensely mesmerized by Rocks’s strength and wanted to be a part of his crew. For Loki, serving Rocks meant a lot, but he was eventually rejected by the captain of the crew.

The reason behind this was likely his age, as this happened when Loki was in his early childhood days. When Loki was met with refusal, he challenged Rocks to a fight and lost the battle terribly. The clash was so vicious for him that an entire sword was shoved into his body, which Newgate believed was an extreme measure. Even though Loki could never join the Rocks Pirates, his respect and admiration for Rocks remains to this day.

Shanks Destroyed Loki In A Battle Six Years Ago
It was recently mentioned inOne Piece’sElbaf arc that Shanks is one of the few characters inOne Piecewho can beat Luffy. In fact, when Loki set out to the sea six years ago, it was none other than Shanks who ended up facing him in battle. Back then, Shanks wasn’t a Yonko but he was already very strong. His fight with Loki was extremely special, and in the end, he was victorious. Shanks chained Loki downand took him back to Elbaf with him, where he was returned and then tied to the base of the Adam Tree in the Underworld.
So far,Shanks and Rocks D. Xebecare the only two people who are known to have beaten Loki, but there could soon be another individual added to the list.
