The world ofOne Pieceis full of wonder and mysteries and it goes without saying that one of the biggest mysteries in the series is the location of the Final Island that only the Roger Pirates managed to reach long ago, Laugh Tale. Nobody knows where Laugh Tale is except those who have been there, and fans know for a fact that theOne Pieceitself is on Laugh Tale.
Given that One Piece is in the Final Saga, it is only a matter of time before Oda goes on to reveal the location of Laugh Tale, and with it, the secrets behind the treasure that Joy Boy left behind. But, for those who pay careful attention to detail, Oda might’ve already revealed the location of Laugh Tale in One Piece.
For quite a big chunk of the story, fans believed that Laugh Tale was at the end of the Grand Line. This is what Crocus toldthe Straw Hat Piratesand what they were expecting. However, if Laugh Tale was at the end of the Grand Line, surely more pirates would’ve come across it. In the Xou arc, it was Nekomamushi and Inuarashi who confirmed that Laugh Tale does not lie at the end of the Grand Line. There is a final island at the end of this Grand Line, but it isn’t Laugh Tale. Instead, to get to Laugh Tale, one needs four Road Poneglyphs which indicate a particular location, and the intersection of these Road Poneglyphs is where Laugh Tale is.
Only after finding all four Road Poneglyphs can one reach the Final Island, Laugh Tale. — Inuarashi to the Straw Hats
In the Oden flashback, Roger revealed that the island at the end of the Grand Line is none other than, Lodestar Island, which is where Roger and his crew learned all about Poneglyphs and the final island. Lodestar Island is most certainly going to be important in One Piece and that goes without saying. But, at the same time, fans also know that the end goal is Laugh Tale, which doesn’t lie at the end of the Grand Line, but somewhere else entirely.
Why Laugh Tale Might Be Inside The Red Line
There Could Be A Hollow Space Inside The Red Line
There are many ideas out there that suggest the location of the Final Island, Laugh Tale. For instance, a very popular idea suggests that Laugh Tale is at the bottom of the ocean. But, a more prominent idea is that Laugh Tale could be inside the Red Line itself. This idea might seem rather bizarre, but it has a certain depth to it. First of all, the idea of their existing hidden countries shouldn’t surprise anyone. For instance, in Impel Down, Newkama Land was built inside the prison, and was between Levels 5 and 6, outside the watchful eye of the guards. Similarly, when Sabo and his allies infiltrated Marijoa, they his under the Red Line and almost created a safe space for themselves there. Back in the Reverse Mountain arc, Crocus was living right inside Laboon, which, once again, shows that living inside places is very much possible.
So in other words, the Sunlight Tree Eve is like the big boss of the Yarukiman Mangrove? — Usopp to King Neptune
As such, living inside the Red Line, the biggest continent, is a possibility as well. As to how that works, the idea is simple and already established by Oda himself. One simply needs to look at the Sunlight Tree Eve. For those who don’t know, the Sunlight Tree Eve carries light and air from the surface and gives it to Fishman Island, 10,000 meters under the ocean. Yet,Fishman Island lies directly under Marijoa. So, logically speaking, this tree should pass through the Red Line, all the way to the top. If the tree passes through the Red Line, then, surely, there is a space inside the Red Line that is illuminated by the Sunlight Tree Eve and receives air with it too. This space could lie somewhere between Marijoa and Fishman Island, and it is where Laugh Tale could be.
Why Nobody Has Reached Laugh Tale After Roger
Getting To The Island Needs Precise Coordinates
If Laugh Tale truly is inside the Red Line, then, getting there would be impossibly difficult for the vast majority of the pirates. It explains why Roger was the first one in 800 years to get to Laugh Tale. Fans might wonder why nobody crossed paths with this island in their lives, but if one considers the idea that Laugh Tale is inside the Red Line, then it makes sense. So, the bigger question now is how can one get inside the Red Line? The answer is simple and Oda has already revealed itin the Egghead Arc. There exist special doors that one can phase through inOne Piece. Vegapunk had these walls all over the Egghead Labophase. The door to the Labophase saw people phase in from one side, although the other side looked rock solid. Similarly, Vegapunk had hidden the junkyard with this wall and one could only phase through a wall to get there.
Vegapunk derives his technologyfrom the Ancient Kingdom, and if he had this power, then, surely, the Ancient Kingdom did as well. Those of the Final Island likely had this power too, and there might be parts in the Red Line that can be phased through easily, but only at specific locations and only from one side. This might be the only way of reaching Laugh Tale.
