The Straw Hat Pirates are the main heroes ofOne Piece. The crew was formed in East Blue with five members, and since then its size has increased to ten. The Straw Hat Pirates have been through many trials and tribulations, but they have overcome them together.
Currently, the Straw Hats are in Elbaf, where they facethe threat of the Holy Knights, who are the strongest group of fighters in charge of protecting Marijoa. There is no denying that the Straw Hats have grown a lot stronger, but they could do with a few recruits.
The Strength Of The Straw Hat Pirates
The Straw Hat Pirates are led by Monkey D. Luffy, who is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. However, Luffy wouldn’t have received the title if it weren’t for his crew. He had to recruit the right people whom he could rely on in peril. So far, Luffy has recruited the following individuals:
All the Straw Hats are indispensable, as each of them plays a specific role in the crew. Even though some members are weaker than the rest, they still pull their weight.
The Egghead arc was arguably the first time that it seemed the crew needed new recruits. In most cases, the Monster Trio takes care of the big threats, but even then, the odds are not always in their favor.In the Elbaf arc, the Straw Hatshave to face the threat of the Holy Knights. All three of them are immensely powerful, and their strength can rival that of a Yonko. If the three were to fight the Monster Trio, they would win easily because Zoro and Sanji cannot handle opponents of such caliber yet. So, if Scopper Gaban wasn’t in Elbaf, the crew would be done for.
Who Will Luffy Recruit Next?
Loki Will Be A Great Fit For The Crew
At the moment, the crew is lacking in strength, and the only person in Elbaf who could really improve them is Loki. The Giant has been ostracized by the people of Elbaf. They call him the Accursed Prince and want absolutely nothing to do with him. Loki has been convicted of killing King Harald, but it is implied that there is more to it than what is being let on. Even if Loki is innocent, it is hard to see him forgiving the people of Elbaf after they spent years tormenting him.
Strength-wise,Loki is an absolute unit. He is taller than most giants, making him physically superior to the rest. Loki also possesses the Ragnir, a legendary weapon that can summon thunderbolts. If these abilities weren’t enough, Loki also has an unknown Devil Fruit that is believed to be extremely powerful. So far, its powers haven’t been revealed, but they will be before the conclusion of the arc. Loki and Luffy have a few similarities, and they get along well. It is possible that Luffy might convince Loki with a display of strength.

Vivi Will Join The Crew Again
Nefertari Vivi joined the crew after they entered the Grand Line. Despite being a princess, she had no problem fitting in. Together, they managed to undo Crocodile’s plan and bring him to his knees. Following Crocodile’s defeat, fans strongly believed that Vivi would stick with the crew. However, she decided to stay behind and help her father restore Alabasta. Before saying their goodbyes, the Straw Hats reaffirmed that Vivi would always be one of them.
Even though Vivi decided to stay behind, she will likely join thecrew again in the Final Saga.Imu is actively targeting her, and the Straw Hats are one of the few crews that stand a chance against such a powerful enemy. While Vivi is not strong, she has an important role to play in the massive war that will happen soon.
