For this discussion, fans present their cases forDevil Fruits that are fairly underutilizedby their current user, yet with more training or a better user, could be much stronger than most originally anticipated. Although many of the characters that utilize these fruits are already very strong, fans believe that there are certain creative aspects of their fruit that the characters are overlooking.

Sprouts Limbs On Any Surface
First up is Robin and the Flower-Flower Fruit, a Devil Fruit that is already fairly well utilized by the archaeologist of the Straw Hats. Giving her the ability to sprout limbs on any surface, fans believe that with the use of Haki,the potential of Robin’s Devil Fruitwould skyrocket. Additionally, some fans take a darker approach, suggesting that Robin could potentially use her ability internally on her opponents, inflicting far more damage than creating limbs on them externally.

Another fruit that may have a bit of wasted potential in the eyes of fans isBartolomeo’s Barrier-Barrier Fruit. Although Barto uses the fruit fairly well, creating near-indestructible barriers for both combat and transportation, many fans believe that these barriers could be used in more creative ways. Although Barto isn’t the smartest character, if he started using his barriers in similar ways to a character likeMarvel’sSue Storm, he may gain a massive power-up.
Blasts The Target With A Beam That Slows Them Down
Another potentially powerful fruit that has a weak user is Foxy and the Slow-Slow Fruit. Allowing the user to slow down objects with a fairly fast-moving beam, hitting an enemy once is likely to result in an immediate loss if this fruit isbeing utilized by strongerOne Piececharacters. In the hands of someone like Garp for example, slowing an opponent would allow Garp to unleash the full extent of his attacks on an opponent who can’t defend themselves.
Creates Doors In Anything
Finally, some fans believe that Blueno’s Door-Door Fruit has far more potential thanthe former CP9 agentwas able to utilize. Although Blueno did a fairly good job with the fruit, using it both as a means of teleportation, by creating doors in the air, and disorienting his foes, by turning them into doors, fans believe there are more aspects to the fruit that he left underutilized. Mainly, fans feel the concept of the space between the doors that the CP9 agent creates could be utilized more. Potentially, a strong user could force people into this strange pocket dimension between the doors and seal them in by removing the exit.

Some other fruits with lots of potentialinclude Buggy’s Chop-Chop Fruit, Luffy’s Human-Human Fruit Model: Nika, and Sugar’s Hobby-Hobby Fruit. In the end, each of these fruits has some sort of undiscovered usage or weak user that holds it back from becoming one of the stronger Devil Fruits inOne Piece. Hopefully, fans will have a chance to see these fruits at their full potential, though with Blueno’s Door-Door Fruit and Foxy’s Slow-Slow Fruit on the list, it seems unlikely that each Devil Fruit will have a chance to shine before the end of the series.
