The post contains spoilers for One Piece.

Summary

One PieceEpisode 1125 kickstarted the next phase of the Egghead arc. In the first half, the Straw Hats and the satellites had to contend with CP0 and the Seraphim. But things are about to become a lot more intense in the second half as the crew has to face stronger enemies.

In Episode 1125, Admiral Kizaru finallyappeared and clashed with Sentomaru. Despite their past, the Admiral couldn’t afford not to fight, so he tried to finish the battle quickly. Sentomaru did put up firm resistance, but it ultimately proved to be for naught. The episode also confirmed that Roronoa Zoro’s next opponent would be Rob Lucci.

Why Are Fans Worried About The Fight Between Zoro And Lucci?

Roronoa Zoro and Lucci previously met in Water 7 and then again in Enies Lobby, but the two never actually fought each other. It was mainly because Zoro’s opponent in Enies Lobby was Kaku. After years, Lucci and Zoro will finally go face-to-face.

In the manga, this particular battle went on for more than five months. Fans are worried about how Toei Animation is going to approach this fight, especiallywith the recent controversy surrounding Sanji. One of the major changes was the addition of a short flashback in which Sanji revealed that Nami had rescued him. On the other hand, Zoro had beaten two Seraphim comfortably.

Since your ally arrived, you got carried away? —Roronoa Zoro to Lucci

Naturally, fans are worried if Toei Animation is biased towards Zoro and if it will show the Straw Hat emerging triumphant without any problems. The studio will make changes to the fight and extend it to make it more appealing than the manga. However, Toei Animation should try to keep the unnecessary scenes to a minimum, especially those that will affect Lucci’s reputation. If the studio decides to add scenes showing Zoro dominating the fight, fans will believe that Lucci was completelyoutclassed by the pirate.

Whatever Happens, Fans Should Remember That It Is Just An Anime

Fans have the right to be worried, and they are free to express their opinions, but they shouldn’t go overboard. After the release of Episode 1124, certain fans targeted thestaff members working at Toei Animation. They even harassed people who had nothing to do with the episode, including Megumi Ishitani, the legendary director.

In the future, fans should refrain from this behavior. They should also remember that the staff members do not let prejudice get the better of them. They work to show off their skill and to entertain fans.

Toei Animation Doesn’t Compromise On Animation

Aside from the controversy about the changes, one thing that every fan can vouch for is the quality of animation. Ever since theanime entered the Wano Country arc, the level of animation has significantly increased, and every episode looks amazing.

In the Egghead arc, the studio has upped its efforts, and it is evident from the episodes. Toei Animation even put the anime on hiatus as it didn’t want to compromise the quality. This shows the studio’s dedication to the One Piece anime and how much it wants to give fans the best experience. Therefore, viewers can expect all upcoming fights to have the best quality animation.

The second half of the Egghead arc has only just begun, so there are plenty of fights that fans will get to witness. The closest one is Luffy vs. Kizaru. The latter defeated Luffy on Sabaody Archipelago, and he even destroyed him mentally. So, the pirate will be eager to repay the damage.

Luffy has grown a lot stronger since their last encounter, so the Admiral will have to give his all to win the fight. Luffy has access to Gear 5and Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, and he will use them to subdueKizaru. If he doesn’t beat the Admiral, it could spell trouble for the rest of the Straw Hats and the satellites.
