This post contains spoilers for One Piece.
Summary
One PieceEpisode 1126 was a phenomenal one. The main focus of the episode was the fight between Luffy and Kizaru. The two are among the most elite fighters in the entire series. Naturally, fans were excited to see what the two were capable of doing in a fight.
In the preview for One Piece Episode 1127, fans caught a glimpse of Zoro fighting with Rob Lucci. The latter was using his awakened Zoan form, meaning he was serious. Meanwhile, Zoro was using all three of his swords, and they were emitting a green aura. This led to a massive debate within the One Piece community.
Did Zoro Use King of Hell Against Lucci?
As previously stated, Zoro and Lucci appeared briefly in the preview for Episode 1127. In the short sequence, Zoro can be seen using the three-sword style to fight Lucci. His swords emitted a colored aura, but there was no black lightning, which indicates the use of Conqueror’s Haki. This led fans to believe that the swordsman did not use the King of Hell while fighting Lucci.
However, this is objectively incorrect.Zoro did use King of Hell while fighting theCP0 agent. In One Piece Chapter 1093, Zoro can clearly be seen using the King of Hell. His blades emit an aura as well as black lightning. It makes sense that Zoro is using his strongest techniques because Lucci is an incredibly powerful fighter. The latter has access to an Awakened form, Haki, and Rokushiki. It is worth mentioning that Lucci is a ruthless maniac who will strike down anyone in his way.
Zoro’s fight with Rob Lucci will be a big test of his abilities. The Straw Hat has taken down many powerful foes in the past, but Lucci is probably the strongest of the lot. Even a second’s hesitation could prove fatal. As the fight drags on, Lucci will be at a disadvantage.Luffy put the CP0 agentthrough the wringer earlier, and then Stussy took him out. Both these incidents have weakened him, so Lucci will be hoping that his Zoan-type Devil Fruit comes in handy and allows him to fight against Zoro for longer.
One Piece Episode 1126 Included Two Major Moments
While Lucci and Zoro were nowhere to be seen in Episode 1126, there were still a lot of interesting moments. The episode startedwith Kuma’s rampage in Marijoa. He used his Devil Fruit to get away from the Kamabakka Kingdom and travel to Red Port. Kuma then scaled the Red Line to reach Marijoa. The soldiers tried to stop Kuma, but they were no match for him. That’s when Fleet Admiral Sakazuki intervened and attacked him. But before Sakazuki could finish the job, Kuma used his power to escape.
I can see why you could defeat Kaido. —Kizaru to Luffy
The other standout moment of the episode involved Luffy and Kizaru. The two had previously met on Sabaody Archipelago, and it ended horribly for the pirate. But like Luffy said, the entire crew is 100 times stronger. Luffy started the fight with Snakeman, a variant of his Gear Fourth that focuses on speed over strength. It was a smart choice, as Kizaru is arguably the fastest character in One Piece. The Admiral possesses the Pika Pika no Mi,a Logia-type Devil Fruit that gives himfull control over light. A single strike by Kizaru can end up causing serious injuries. However, Luffy’s Snakeman wasn’t enough, and he was sent flying by the Admiral.
The Next Episode Will Have Big Fights
But Luffy came back, and this time, he used Gear 5th. He increased his size, caught Kizaru in his hand, and dragged him out. Luffy’s Gear 5th is the pinnacle of his powers, so it is clear that he is taking the fight seriously. The last scene in the episode focused on the massive robot that had been dormant for ages.
But the sound of Luffy’s heartbeatwoke him up. The next episode of One Piece will certainly shine more light on this particular incident. For fighting enthusiasts, Episode 1127 will have Luffy vs. Kizaru and Zoro vs. Lucci.
