The post contains spoilers for One Piece.
Summary
After setting forth from Wano, the Straw Hat Pirates would never have imagined that they would end up on Egghead Island, the home of Dr. Vegapunk. Not only that, they would never have expected the genius scientist to request them to help him get off the island.
Shortlyafter landing on the island, the Straw Hats began exploring it, and it’s safe to say that they were mesmerized by the technological marvels produced by Dr. Vegapunk and his satellites. However, their tour was cut short by the arrival of CP0, who had been ordered to return S-Bear to the island and assassinate Dr. Vegapunk.
Somehow, the Straw Hats survived CP0’s onslaught. Next, they had to stop the Seraphim and York. Once again, the Straw Hats were successful, but it’s possible that their luck might have finally run out. In recentOne Pieceepisodes, Admiral Kizaru and several other Vice Admirals could be seen near Egghead Island. It’s quite clear that they’re planning an attack, but the question is, can the Straw Hats survive it?
The Second Buster Call Will Be More Dangerous
The arrival of so many powerful Marines near the island can only mean one thing— a Buster Call. But it won’t be the first time that the Straw Hats have been hit with one of the most effective strategies. The crew got a taste of a Buster Call for the first time in Enies Lobby as a result of Spandam’s actions.
He didn’t want the Straw Hats to leave the place alive after they had thwarted his plans of securing Pluton’s blueprints and Nico Robin. At the time, the Straw Hats were alreadydrained from fighting CP9 members, but they somehow managed to pull through with some help from others.
The Straw Hat Pirates Will Face Stronger Opponents
The situation on Egghead Island is just as bad, if not worse. The Straw Hats have had to beat Rob Lucci, Kaku, and the Seraphim. These high-octane fights must have taken some toll on their bodies, making it more difficult to handle the enemies. It isalso worth mentioning that Rob Lucci is free, and he will be fighting Roronoa Zoro. The main threat, Admiral Kizaru, will clash with Monkey D. Luffy. The former breached the island’s security with the help of his Devil Fruit.
Following his advent, Kizaru went after Sentomaru. The two have known each other for a long time, but that didn’t stop them from putting on an exciting fight. Sentomaru had confidence in his defense, and he believed it would be enough to stop Kizaru. Unfortunately, he couldn’t have been more mistaken. The Admiral’s Pika Pika no Mi andsuperior Haki pierced Sentomaru’s guard. Kizaru will next clash with Luffy, who will be looking to settle the score from their past interactions.
Surrender, Straw Hat. —Kizaru to Luffy
If Kizaru ends up losing the fight, it’s likely that Jaygarcia Saturn will order a Buster Call to eradicate all sorts of lifeforms on the island. It doesn’t sound like an impossible job, especially with Marines having the numerical advantage. Once again, the Straw Hats will require help from other people. Otherwise, they might not be able to escape from the island.
Who Could Come To The Aid Of The Straw Hats?
The most rational answer isthat the Straw Hat Grand Fleet might makeits appearance and help the crew to escape from the island. They haven’t had the opportunity to help out the Straw Hats since Dressrosa, and this is the perfect time. It will also show how strong the Grand Fleet has become.
Aside from the Grand Fleet, it is possible that Monkey D. Dragon might be looking to get involved, not just because of Luffy but also Vegapunk. Dragon and Vegapunk have known each other for decades, and it’s safe to say that they are good friends. So, the Revolutionary Army commander can take this chance to help out his son and friend. In either case, fans can expect to see some intense action from the remainder of the arc.
