Oblivion Remasteredcomes pre-packaged with two major story DLCs, andKnights of the Nine is one of them. The Knights of the Nine questline will take you along the map in search of the Crusader armor pieces, as it’s one of the best armor sets you may have. Nature’s Fury is the third main quest of the DLC, which involves surviving a bear attack in order to get the Boots of the Crusader armor piece. Here’s how to complete this quest and get the armor set piece.
How to Start the Nature’s Fury Quest in Oblivion Remastered
Players can start the Nature’s Fury quest aftercompleting the “Priory of the Nine” questinOblivion Remastered. Towards the end of that quest, you’ll need to defeat the vestiges of the former Knights of the Nine and talk to them afterward. Later, one of the knights will give players the Nature’s Fury quest, which will help them get the Boots of the Crusader armor piece.
After starting the quest, players will need to head to an unmarked shrine, west of the Imperial City (location in the image above). Here, you’ll need totalk to Avita Vesnia, who will explain that you’ll need to complete a test from Kynareth. Although she keeps the details of the test to herself, Avita does provide a hint that players should keep in mind to “fear and respect nature.”
Survive the Encounter Against the Forest Guardian Bear
After talking to Avita, players will need to head to the next quest marker. You’ll arrive at a clearing with huge boulders making a natural boundary around the area. Wait for a couple of seconds, and you’ll hear a growl from a creature nearby. After some time,a bear named the “Forest Guardian"will start approaching players.
Now, the main goal is tosurvive this encounter for a brieftime without attacking the bear once. This can be done in a couple of ways.
After some time has passed, you’ll receive a quest update notifying you that you have successfully survived the attack without harming the bear. After this, a boulder will shift out of place, revealing a secret door behind. Use theStone Door to Kynareth’s Grottoto enter the cavern and get the Boots of the Crusader on the stone slab inside.
