Disposition is an essential mechanic and a fun minigame found throughoutOblivion Remastered, where players can interact and manipulate NPCs into becoming their friends, allies, or enemies simply by talking to them.Disposition acts asOblivion Remastered’s Persuasion Wheel. While Disposition is important, it can seem somewhat overwhelming to new players who have yet to experience the attempts at making friendly conversation with NPCs inOblivion Remastered.

How to Successfully Use the Persuasion Wheel in Oblivion Remastered
Disposition acts as the Persuasion Wheel inOblivion Remastered, and it can be activated by speaking to NPCs and then selecting the icon in the bottom left that features an outline of a person with arrows pointing at their head. Once in this menu, players can start the Disposition minigame, but be warned, upon starting, they will lose 1 Disposition if they take too long to decide on an option, however, this is rather limited and doesn’tmake large changes.
The Disposition wheel is split into 4 categories:
Out of these 4 categories, each NPC will have a unique interaction, and the amount of Disposition earned/lost is determined by both the NPC’s reaction when hovering over the option, and the number of bars when that option is selected:
Wide-eyed, big smile
Gentle eyes, soft smile
Lowered eyebrows, no smile
Deep scowl, frowning mouth
Extremely Negative Disposition
To get the maximum Disposition possible, players will want to try to select the love and like options when they have 4 bars attributed to them. Thegoal of the Disposition minigame is to select the worst options with the lowest bars possible, and the best options with the highest bars possible, so some level of mathematics is involved, as the bars will move clockwise with every option taken. This can be difficult, especially with each NPC having a random reaction. As such, it’s best to assess what an NPC likes to see if it’s worth wasting a few bars on a bad joke, or a good coerce to get the maximum amount of Disposition points possible, which can be a maximum of 90.
The best advice is tochoose the love option when the bars are full, and thehate option when the bars are empty, with any wedge for like and dislike, as that will always provide a steady gain of Disposition.
How to Increase Disposition in Oblivion Remastered
Disposition can be increased through a few different ways. The easiest is simply to level up thePersonality attribute, asevery 4 points put into Personality will provide 1 point of Disposition. Other ways involve using gold tobribe NPCsin the Disposition window, which can provide a random amount of Disposition granted. While these might be costly ways to increase DIsposition, it’s important or remember that the speech wheel mechanic will always be the most effective method that doesn’t require wasted attribute points or wasted gold.
