Following the main storyline, you will reach the Blood of the Daedra quest sooner or later, which is not as simple as it may seem. Martin needs a Daedric artifact to open the portal, but he does not say where to look for it. Therefore, in this guide, we will tell you how to complete the Blood of Daedra quest inOblivion Remastered.
For this quest, you need to bring any Daedric artifact, after which it will be irretrievably lost. And since each such artifact is a powerful item, you need to choose wisely.
How to Complete Blood of Daedra Quest
Opening the portal to Mankar’s Paradise requires special magical resources, namelyDaedric artifacts. These are the most powerful items inOblivion Remastered. Some are useful for exploring the world and crafting unique equipment, while others are weapons with special effects. There are 15 Daedric artifacts in the game, each of which is hidden in the Ruins and requires completing certain quests to obtain.

Even though Martin says that he does not know where to find such an artifact, he does have a hint. In front of him, you will find a book called Modern Heretics, which will point to the location of the Star of Azura artifact. However, we strongly advise against giving it to Martin, since this item is a reusableGrand Soul Gem.
Instead, we recommend that you visit other ruins and give the artifact that is least useful for your build. But it is worth noting that some of the quests for obtaining artifacts require afairly high level.
Among all the Daedric artifacts inOblivion Remastered, the least useful is the Wabbajack. This Staff transmutes a creature into another creature for 20 seconds. Due to the randomness, the effect can be both useless and even dangerous for you.
In addition, getting this artifact is quite simple. All you need to do is talk to Ri’bassa after reaching disposition 60. Then you have to poison all the sheep in the pen to complete the quest inOblivion Remastered.
Once you get one of several Daedric artifacts, you need to return it to Martin. Talk to him, and choose an item that you are sure you will not need in the future. This way, you will complete the Blood of the Daedra quest and begin the Blood of the Divines quest inOblivion Remastered.
