Now live, The Breach update addsover 11,000 changes toNo Rest for the Wicked, nearly doubling the size of the world. It introduces two sprawling new regions - Lowland Meadows and Marin Woods - complete with new enemy types like Rust Reavers and Timber Wights. Players will also encounter the hazardous Blight mechanic in these zones. Alongside the new locations come 17 new Story Scenes, which include three cinematics, five hybrid cutscenes, and nine game view cutscenes, as well as two new settlements: Marin Village and Hunter’s Vale. The Breach update is accessible after completingNo Rest for the Wicked’s Prologue and several early campaign missions, including Sacrament and Servant of God.

On the gameplay front, The Breach dramatically expandsNo Rest for the Wicked’s combat toolkit with new weapon archetypessuch as Gauntlets and Wands, bringing the total weapon count to over 150. A new endgame system, the Plague System, now dynamically infects areas with Pestilence, adding high-risk rewards and enemy variants. For hardcore fans, the new permadeath-enabled Hardcore Mode provides an extra challenge. Quality-of-life upgrades are extensive as well, including improved tooltips, enhanced fast travel with Whisper Stones, better inventory storage, and performance boosts thanks to DLSS 4.0 support.No Rest for the Wicked’s soundtrack also gets new compositions by Gareth Coker. Brand-new quests and an extensive amount of high quality cinematic animation as the campaign unfolds across 18 new story scenes.
