Torn Banner Studios reveals its biggest update yet forNo More Room in Hell 2, adding two new maps, new characters, and much more. After launching in early access back in October 2024 and adding new content and making improvements to the core experience each month after,No More Room in Hell 2is preparing to launch its Reanimation update on April 15, marking the game’s biggest jump in content so far.
Building on top of the first game’s legacy,No More Room in Hell 2continues adding new contentfor players to dig into, with the December update bringing back the Infection mechanic as well as other player-requested features. However, as an Early Access game, Torn Banner Studios continues taking player feedback as it works to evolve and improve the overall gameplay before its eventual full launch. The newly announced Reanimation update forNo More Room in Hell 2is the biggest one yet as it adds the Pottsville and Lewiston maps, offering a different gameplay experience from the current Power Plant or Waldoboro. Pottsville is described as a dark, suburban town that leans more intoNo More Room in Hell 2’s close-quarters-style combat, while Lewiston forces players to pick between two different evacuation routes as they work to rescue survivors and escape before the sun sets. No More Room In Hell 2 Reanimation Update Details
Outside the new maps being added, the Reanimation update also features a bunch of game improvements, including a revamped character roster aimed at making it easier for players to manage multiple permadeath characters at once. There’s also a new radial inventory system which was inspired by theoriginalNo More Room in Hell, placing a greater focus on gear weight. Finally, the game’s combat system was overhauled to give players more options and improved mechanics for ranged and melee attacking. Players also have the ability to kick, knocking down zombies at the expense of stamina.
WhileNo More Room in Hell 2features plenty of different zombies, the Reanimation update will be adding even more into the mix, including riot police and construction worker zombies. These types will have extra armor, making fighting them a bit more tense and tactical. Alongside improved loot distribution, new melee weapons, and performance boosts, the update also brings hundreds of bug fixes to further improve the player’s overall experience.
