It was confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 willlaunch on June 5, 2025and willretail for $449.99for the edition that comes with just the console and$499.99 for the bundlethat includesMario Kart World. This is in line with what many analysts predicted ahead of Nintendo’s official announcement. Pre-order availability may vary by retailer, but it seems as though the console will not go on sale until April 9. TheMario Kart Worldbundle will only be available for a limited time, so those interested will need to buy it by fall 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 Price and Release Date

Nintendo has previously indicated that it hasplans in place to deal with scalpers, with many assuming that it produced an excess of Switch 2 consoles. Whether that’s the case or not remains to be seen, as others believe that the Switch 2 will sell through its stock on day one.
