Although rare, it is possible for ninja to use multiple elements simultaneously to create unique effects and advanced elemental releases. Typically, these techniques are only possible through genetic bloodline techniques and are not something any shinobi can learn. This is because it requires the user to produce multiple natural affinities, which is not something most people possess. Primarily, techniques utilizing two or more elements at the same time are referred to askekkei genkai or kekkei tota,depending on the number of elements that are present.
