We see Ingenium in action, offer Koichi a life-changing offer, and end the episode with what could shape Koichi’s future.

Everything That Happened in Episode 4

Vigilantes Continue to Serve the Society

The episode begins with the trio defeating a trio of villains who are seen sexually harassing women on the street. Coincidentally, this villain has the same quirk as Koichi. Later in the episode,after being offered Triggerby Hachisuka, a dangerous villain shows up.

Due to his size and tremendous physical strength, Knuckleduster initially struggles against him but eventually takes the villain down. Finally, the trio helps Ingenium in defeating the Bat Villain that rivaled Ingenium’s speed.

A Deeper Look into Hachisuka’s Plans

The episode showcasesconversations between Hachisuka and All for One. Though All for One does not appear in the episode, fans hear him telling Hachisuka to use Trigger more efficiently instead of recklessly. Instead of distributing it indiscriminately to everyone, she should only offer it to those who have the mental willingness to maximize its effect.

Hachisuka goes on to awaken a massive villain that causes havoc in the city. She is also seen luring another man who is likely to also be turned into an instant villain.

Ingenium in Action

Fans finally get to see the Turbo Hero: Ingeniumin action. He is seen chasing the Bat Villain, who initially outspeeds and defeats him. The next morning, Ingenium meets Koichi and even helps him discover a way to use his quirk more efficiently. After realizing the potential in Koichi’s quirk, Ingeium explains the importance of speed and offers him to join his team, named Team IDATEN.

Ingenium also explains the importance of support staff, whose combined forces fuel heroes on duty. He also explains that working in the field as a support staff is also an option for getting a hero license. With the help of his team, Ingenium once again chases the Bat Villain and manages to keep up with him, and finally chases him into a corner. But unfortunately, the villain uses its wings to make an aerial escape. Moments later, the villain is caught by the trio of The Crawler, Knuckleduster, and Pop Step.

Episode 4 Ending, Explained

Ingenium is finally able to catch the Bat Villain with the help of the vigilante trio. Koichi also reveals his true identity to Ingenium, who is left impressed by the young vigilante. Instead of going after these illegal heroes, he lets them get away with a smile on his face. The next morning, Ingenium meets Koichi again, thanking him for his help last night. Koichi funnily acts oblivious.

Ingenium requests Koichi to return the business card he previously offered to Koichi. Koichi is immediately disappointed by this rejection. But Ingenium explains that since Koichi has already found a place in his vigilante trio, he wants to respect Koichi’s life as a vigilante. This scene meant that Ingenium wished to help Koichi use his quirk for society by allowing him to work in his agency. But after realizing thatKoichi is already doing his part as a vigilante, he gave up on the thought.

Episode 5 Preview Hints Something Romantic?

Episode 5 is called “Judgment”. The Episode 5 Preview suggests that something might occur between Pop Step and Koichi as Pop Step is seen blushing. But Pop Step is immediately cut off by Koichi, who announces the appearance of a villain and a cool guy who saves everyone from the villain. The preview ends while Pop Step is annoyed at Koichi for not reading the room and cutting her off.
