Now, Capcom has unveiled the latestMonster Hunter Wildsupdate, Patch 1.010.01.00, which focuses on fixing a few pesky bugs. The patch ends some more serious common problems, such as the game crashing when speaking to Nata and requesting to trade with Sekka, or when players equip their hunters with certain gear and attempt to launchMonster Hunter Wilds. Other prominent issues that were corrected included Palicoes not riding Seikret in some scenes, certain gestures causing issues with the hunter’s movement, players being able to bring their own weapons to Arena Quests and Challenge Quests, and more. To update the game, all players need to do is closeMonster Hunter Wildsand restart the game while online.
This bug-fixing patch comes on the heels ofthe big Title Update 1 forMonster Hunter Wilds, which was released earlier in April. The major update added more content, such as new weapons, armor, and missions, but also introduced a few glitches, like the game crashing when talking to Nata and asking for Sekka.
Despite still having some bugs which have not yet been fixed,Monster Hunter Wildsis a huge best-seller. The game surpassed 10 million units sold in just over a month, and it became the fastest-selling game in Capcom’s history. It’s expected that Capcom will continue to quickly patch all the remaining glitches in the action RPG as soon as possible.
Earlier this month, Capcom revealed content coming toMonster Hunter Wilds. At the time, it was confirmed that the game would receive more updates soon, and more content, such as a seasonal event called Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, lasting from April 22 to May 6. Title Update 2 is expected sometime during the summer and will bring more content to the RPG, as well. Apart from this free content,Monster Hunter Wildswill receive a paid DLC during the summer, which will consist of new cosmetics.
