Pokemon GOhas a special event once a week called Spotlight Hour, which puts attention on one specific Pokemon for an hour, giving it anincreased spawn rate. There are also different bonuses attached to the Spotlight Hour, like double XP and extra Stardust.

Times and Dates
The Spotlight Hour events forPokemon GOalways take place onTuesdays from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. It doesn’t matter where you live, the event will always take place at the same time.
Here are the dates for each Spotlight Hour, the associated Pokemon, and the bonuses to expect for those sixty minutes:
