On the one hand, Insomniac could pull back on MCU suits, but on the other hand, that would also upset the players who love getting to play the game in these movie tie-in outfits. No matter what Insomniac does, it risks upsetting a portion of the players.Suit options inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2can be incredibly fun, but it’s also understandable why players would be frustrated with so many slots in Peter’s inventory being dedicated to movie suits instead of original or comic-based offerings. Thankfully, there might be a way for both camps to get what they want.

If Insomniac still insists on including every possible movie suit, making them variants instead of their own separate options may be the best path forward. MCU lovers still get to enjoy the movie references, while those who prefer the original designs and comic accurate suits can have more free spaces to unlock. There’s no tellingwhat’s in store forMarvel’s Spider-Man 3, but this approach to suits could open the door for better options for Peter. Still, it would take a lot of work on Insomniac’s part, as they would essentially be making more suits since the movie suits are so distinct that basic recolors are not an option.

At this pace, it wouldn’t be surprising ifMarvel’s Spider-Man 3wasa PS6 launch title. Of course, only time will tell, but until then, Insomniac may have to reconsider how it includes MCU suits.
