The devs promise minor adjustments to heroes, citing Groot and Captain America’s reduced survivability as one of the upcoming changes. The damage range ofSpider-Man’s Amazing Combowill be slightly lowered, and Doctor Strange will need less energy to use his ultimate.
NetEase Teases What to Expect of the Upcoming Marvel Rivals Update
Marvel Rivalswill adjust Team-Up abilities, and although it hasn’t given full details of what’s to come, a small buff for Winter Soldier’s Tainted Voltage and Team-Up ability was mentioned. In addition to confirming thatUltron will be the nextMarvel Rivalscharacter, NetEase plans to introduce minimal changes to improve the experience of certain heroes without having a huge impact on the meta. Once the mid-season patch is available, the development team will consider broader and more significant balance changes.
In addition to the balance changes and adjustments, the mid-season update will adjust the performance rating calculations based on the most recent data. According to NetEase, it has been noticed that certain Duelists have a greater advantage in performance ratings in Season 2, while someMarvel RivalsVanguardsand Strategists are at a disadvantage.
