NetEase officially announced the release of these skinsthrough their X page, and they will be arriving onApril 17 at 7 PM PDT. Peni Parker’sYatsukahagi skinis a reminiscence of the Tsuchigumo, a spider yōkai that is quite characteristic of the Kobe region in Japan, and appeared as part of the local folklore during the Kamakura period.
On the other hand,Doctor Strange’s outfitis slightly inspired by the evil Strange versionfrom the movieMultiverse of Madness, though its design is not a perfect copy-paste and has its defining features. These particular details, like the cape’s design and thezombie-like features(instead of the Dark Sorcerer/corrupted aspect that Strange had in the movie), make this skin something attractive for those who are looking to give the character a more ferocious aspect during battle.
