Instead of being able to buy these new customization options with Units, players need to spend 600 Unstable Molecules. As of writing, the only way to attain Unstable Molecules is to trade it for Lattice, the game’s premium currency. This makes each customization option right around $6.

NetEase Games has announced that it would be releasing a new game mode called Giant-Size Brain Blast on April 25. The trailer begins by showingMarvel Rivals' Captain Americatransforming into what looks almost like a bobble-head version of the hero. The video then moves on to show Spider-Man, Loki, Moon Knight, and Venom getting the same makeover. Once the footage moves into gameplay, the audience can see that all ofMarvel Rivals' heroes are sporting the same aesthetic as they face off against one another on the battlefield. The animations of these bobble-style characters jumping around and attacking one another are humorous and a bit silly, which is likely the intent.

Players who decide to participate will have a chance to earn free event-exclusive titles and anemote inMarvel Rivals. While there’s no official word on when the event will come to a close, gamers will be able to begin playing on April 25. Many fans have noted that this game mode seems drastically different from the previous ones, as the “gimmick” doesn’t really include gameplay. On April 24 at 7 PM PDT, players will have the opportunity to purchase new skins for the heroesLoki and Hela inMarvel Rivals. Both costumes have taken inspiration from Kirisaki Mountain, a location often used by Marvel. The heroes can be seen wearing traditional Japanese attire with a bright white and green color scheme. With a whole new game mode to experience and even more updates on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ofMarvel Rivals.
